Spot Cleaning

Before you begin, make sure your iron is warmed up and you have soap (we use sunlight or sard soap), water and two cloths. With your hand place one of the cloths underneath the mark and hold it there - this will soak up the water as your dab.

Wet the second cloth and lightly dampen the area, wetting it only a little. Wet the cloth again and add a touch of soap (start small as you can always add more), dab and gently rub. You don’t want the marked area to be too soapy but you want to remove whatever is on the garment. Once you’ve finished, iron it until dry immediately, to avoid a water stain.

Please note that we do wash tests based on experience and machines that we are used to. Care labels are determined based on our recommendations to prolong the life of your garment. If you are unsure, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
